Spring Semester Reminders

Our first day of the second semester went well. We welcomed new families into our group and greeted returning families after a long winter break. The rest of our school year will be great!

The Calendar of Events has been updated with all of the events taking place this semester. We have some fun events, like a Valentine's Day party, End of Year Program, and Field Day. And we also have some business to take care of, so get ready for standardized testing and a parent's meeting.

Don't forget that our class schedule is flexible. If your children took a class today that they just didn't like or isn't at their level, feel free to try a different class next week. You can take a look at the class descriptions on our Classes Offered page for more information on each of the classes.

Also, if you haven't paid your membership dues or turned in your membership forms, please remember to bring them with you next week. Information on the membership forms helps us all keep in touch with each other outside of class days. And the membership dues are used to purchase classroom materials and supplies. We also make an annual donation to Grace Community Church because they are so generous in allowing us to use their facilities.

We use Facebook as our primary source of communication with each other. So, be sure to check our Facebook page periodically for homework assignments, event updates, schedule changes, and other conversations. The Advisory Council encourages all members to attend the parent meetings. Your ideas, input, and feedback help us accommodate the homeschooling community. When we have decisions to make, your vote lets us know what you want and need in a homeschool group.
